We have been processing high-quality thermoplastic material into technically mature and aesthetically pleasing products for more than 70 years.

We process high-quality thermoplastics

In our company, we process exclusively high-quality plastics, such as, for example, acrylic glass as cast or extruded polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA-GS / XT), polycarbonates (PC) or rigid polyvinyl chlorides (PVC-U) in the form of plates, pipes or round bars. Safety screens for machine and plant engineering systems, coverings for light fixtures, covers and screens for medical and laboratory technology, hygienic protection screens, screens for warming beds and many other thing are formed from these. We specialise particularly in the processing of highly transparent plastics.

The history of Ekkehard Franz Kunststofftechnik

The company Franz Kunststofftechnik not only looks back over 75 years of history, but is proud that the family business and know-how has been passed on from generation to generation. In doing so, we adapt permanently to our customers’ requirements and technology developments. For example, our new production facility will soon be built with fully automatic robot operation. Founded in Berlin, we are located in Wassenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia today. From here, we supply customers throughout Germany and in Europe.

Georg Franz founded the company in Berlin.

His son Ekkehard Franz built up the plant in Wassenberg.

The company branch in Wassenberg became commercially independent.

Conversion of the company into a GmbH (company with limited liability) with Ekkehard Franz as General Manager.

His son Hendrik Franz came into the company in the third generation as the second General Manager.

The fourth generation consisting of the brothers Maximilian and Alexander Franz is already waiting in the wings.
